Dear Charlottesville Babe Ruth Community,

Although it has been a while since we communicated with you, the CBRL Board has been meeting periodically to discuss options for our community.  We hope everyone is safe and well.  

With the Governor's Stay-At-Home order expiring on June 10th, and with the movement of the Commonwealth to Phase 2 reopening today, the Board is making preparations for returning safely to the field.  We are in the process of finalizing field usage and safety guidelines that comply with the CDC, Virginia Department of Health, and Albemarle County regulations.   All of the safety guidelines will be communicated before we welcome players back on the field. 

Currently, we are preparing for summer practices to start when field preparations are completed, and games will resume once our community reaches Phase 3 reopening.  

As we work through these challenges we need to have a full understanding of each family's intentions for the summer/fall season.  We are asking all of our families to fill out this form to let us know if you will be playing with us this summer/fall.  Prior to the Covid-19 shutdown, we had already incurred expenses, so those who decide not to play will be eligible for a $100 refund.  We need to hear from all players and will be calling households if we do not hear from you by June 10, 2020 at 5:00 pm.  

More information about scheduling and refunds will be communicated shortly.
