With Governor Northam's decision to close schools for the duration of the school year many families are wondering what will happen with our spring baseball season. We want everyone to know that we are committed to having baseball in our community as soon as it is deemed safe to do so. We are still hoping to have a spring/summer season that will span from mid-May to mid-August, and in support of this hope we are still meeting as a board (virtually, of course!) to determine the best path forward during these uncertain times.  

As of now we are expecting an update from Babe Ruth League sometime in early April. In addition, we are monitoring the recommendations from the Virginia Department of Health as well as the directives from the Albemarle County Parks and Recreation Department. We will plan to send an update out by mid-April, if not before. As communicated earlier, this is a very fluid situation and circumstances change quickly. We will communicate any changes as soon as decisions are made.
