Dear Charlottesville Babe Ruth Community,

We hope everyone is safe and healthy, and we wanted you to know we have not given up on summer baseball.  

As you are probably aware, we are currently under a stay-at-home order from our Governor through June 10th.  We are still awaiting information from Babe Ruth League about the summer Tournament Trail programs, and we've been told that a decision will be made in early to mid-May.  At that point, we should be in a better position to decide what our summer program will look like.  We are also waiting for further updates from the Virginia Department of Health, as well as the Governor's office about how we may proceed once June arrives.  

Our current plan is to continue to meet as a Board in May, and once we have more answers, we can make a decision about how we may proceed.  As of today, we are still hoping for a summer experience for our kids.  

Thank you all for your continued support of our league, and we can't wait to see you back on the field again.
