Important Update about Spring 2020 Season

Dear Charlottesville Babe Ruth Community,

The CBRL Board of Directors has been deliberating about how to manage our Spring 2020 Season with the current outbreak of covid-19. After careful thought and consideration, the league will be suspending operations and cancelling events through at least early April. As you have seen, conditions around this disease are changing very rapidly, so if further disruptions to our schedule are warranted, we will let you know as soon as we make those decisions through our normal communications channels (hotline, website, Facebook, and email communiques).

This decision was not made hastily nor was it something our Board wanted to do; however, experts are suggesting that social distancing is our best defense to stem the spread of the disease in our country. As an organization we must do our part to help by not providing vectors for the disease to spread. We know this is a difficult time for our baseball family, and we are hopeful that we'll see you on the field soon.
