CBRL is offering a 13U Tournament Team option for games in September and October on Sundays. Games will not conflict with regular season CBRL practices or games. Tryout and information meeting will be held on September 4th from 6PM - 8PM at Gardner Field at Lane Park. Contact Coach Dave Sexton if interested in additional information.
The Charlottesville Babe Ruth League is fortunate to have so many dedicated volunteers including top-notch coaches. For the Fall 2019 season, we are proud to announce our head coaching staff:
As a reminder, all families are expected to work up to two (2) games in the Concessions stand this fall. THE LEAGUE WILL ASSIGN YOUR TIMES. We understand that not all times will work for all families. If you are assigned a time that does not work for you, we ask that you work with members of your team to switch assignments so that all slots are covered. Failure to show up for your assigned time will result in additional fee assessment of $25 per game as concessions are vital to the league's financial bottom line. Given the compressed timeline from team formation to the commencement of games, we are seeking volunteers to work on the first Saturday of the season (September 7th). If you are willing to work, please fill out this form and we'll do our best to assign you to a game on September 7th. Once the season is underway, we'll complete the concessions assignments and communicate them to everyone. The schedule will also be posted at the field. During registration we asked you to let us know if you have any practice night conflicts. We realize that school activity schedules have been communicated and many other sports have finalized their commitments as well. If your availability has changed since you registered, please email the league with any updates no later than Wednesday, September 4th, so we can avoid placing your child on a team that has a practice night conflict.
